The Story begins... in a garden
Our first ever installation came when Tom decided to install some garden speakers in his back garden. Being an AV professional meant he was able to get them directly from the manufacturer but, when friends started asking him how they could get hold of some, there was no one to refer them to.
As we loved them as much as our friends and family did, we decided to start installing them for others and the seeds of Garden Tunes were sown.
CHANNELS ESTATE
Our first professional installation was at Channels Estate, a local events and wedding venue which includes a restaurant/bar and a nine-hole golf club.
As part of their Channels Weddings service, the company wanted a way of bringing music to the paved area where weddings are traditionally conducted, as well as providing for the post-ceremony drinks receptions that are typically held on the lawn. An extensive Garden Tunes system means that, Rather that just having the DJ indoors, Channels Estate can now offer music outside as well, so the post-wedding entertainment isn't wasted on beautiful days.
